The May LOGIC meeting was held at Chattertons Solicitors on Tuesday 4 May 2010 at 6pm.

THE APRIL MEETING
As you will be aware, in April and in place of a regular meeting, Janita Carley of the Carley Clinic invited LOGIC members to a demonstration of her work in the field of kinesiology. The evening was fascinating and very much enjoyed by those members who attended.

KICKING OFF THE MEETING
In line with our new format for 2010, the May meeting opened with all attendees spending a minute or two introducing themselves to fellow members and giving an outline of their type of work, together with an idea of what they hoped to achieve by using LOGIC as a networking source.
This introductory spot will be a regular feature of our monthly meetings, whether we are meeting in a formal or an informal setting.
BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT - Gill Handley of Individually Yours
Gill Handley specialises in soft furnishings, whether this be a simple cushion or dressing a complete house. The range of Gill’s work is vast, but she brought along to the meeting a large selection of fabric books, curtain pole samples, and some beautiful made-up samples of curtains and blinds in rich fabrics and unusual colours and designs. Gill demonstrated what could be achieved with a bit of imagination and flair!
Gill provides a complete service from initial consultation, design advice and measuring, through to hanging of completed curtains and blinds. Her prices are very competitive and the work that she produces is of the highest quality. All pieces are hand-sewn, for instance, wherever possible.

DATE AND TIME OF NEXT MEETING
The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 8th June 2010 at Union Interiors on Union Street in Grantham. The proprietor, Hans, will once again open up the doors to LOGIC members for a presentation and viewing opportunity. This will commence at 6pm and will this time include a tour of the relatively new garden area to the side of the main shop. We hope as many as possible of you will be able to attend.
