EMA KERSHAW – OCTOBER TRIP TO THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA

Ema of South Kesteven District Council and some of her colleagues are taking part in a sponsored walk along the Great Wall of China in aid of St Barnabas Hospice.  Ema is keen to attract sponsors for this worthwhile event and sends the following message to all members:-

I know at the present time we are all watching the pennies and that we get asked to sponsor and donate to Charities a lot, but I am trying to raise vital funds for St. Barnabas Hospice.

I will be doing this by having pamper nights, quiz nights and raffles, and then by finally trekking the Great Wall of China with other local business people!

St Barnabas Hospice offer FREE care to patients and their families in times of illness. Anyone who has had contact with the hospice will know what a fantastic job they do in such difficult times.

They need £2.2 million pounds of funding each year to continue offering the services they provide, which is why I feel they are such a worthy charity to raise funds for.

If you would like to assist me in raising these vital funds please make a donation at my just giving page via: http://www.justgiving.com/emmakershaw2 anything you could spare would help.

Thank you and if you require any further details or wish to attend one of the quiz nights then please get in touch.

Update

I have now completed my Charity Trek on the Great Wall of China, (it was one of the most difficult but amazing experiences of my life) and I've noticed a couple of logic members have sponsored me but not paid and also that a few members said they would sponsor me via my just giving site above.

Below is a picture of us all completing the trek, I'm in the back row (hazards of being tall!) and any support for St. Barnabas would be really greatfully recieved as i would love to have a 'Grand Total' by next week if possible.
